Military wives to hold trunk show

Published: September 26, 2012

Two Beaufort County military wives, Sherry Cato and Gia Ellis, have launched a home-based Homecoming Trunk Shows boutique business.

Starting at 5 p.m. Friday, the two independent stylists will hold an open house event at Halo Salon and Spa on Lady's Island. Purses, jewelry, clothing and accessories will be for sale.

Lisa Diaz, who founded Homecoming Trunk Shows in California, is scheduled to attend the event at the salon at 184 Sea Island Parkway.

A portion of the sales goes to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society, the women said.
