Women not fooled about the real threats

Through activist Sandra Fluke, who insists government should supply her contraception, Democrats suggest women are only interested in reproduction.

We know this is a phony issue designed to avoid real issues, such as unemployment, which has been above 8 percent for 43 straight months. America has 12.5 million people unemployed, not counting those who've quit looking, which means it's much higher.

Women know the real issues that vitally affect us. Women need jobs, not more debt and more regulations.

Obamacare wages real war on women.

Potentially life-saving tests, such as mammograms and cervical cancer screenings, are restricted. This mind-numbingly expensive program will "recommend" mammograms every two years from ages 50 to 74, unless one pays more than the already expensive one-size-fits-all standard plan. Pap screenings will be done every three years; if one has a suspicious result, she'll just have to hope she can come back in three years.

Many will pay the Obamacare penalty because they won't be able to afford health insurance, so they'll pay, yet still have no health care.

No, you won't be able to keep your current plan because what company can compete with government, which never balances its budget? This law's onerous red tape, plus the hardships it puts on doctors, means many will leave their practices. Fewer people will attend medical school, so there will be fewer doctors available to see more people.

This is the real war on women.
