Romney doesn't know what he's talking about

info@islandpacket.comSeptember 25, 2012

Mitt Romney complains of us, the 47 percenters, not knowing that we include seniors (like me) who worked for years paying into Social Security, soldiers in combat, the disabled, and young children.

There is no comparison with me receiving $14 a week in food stamps and worrying daily if I can buy anything not on food stamps like soap or shampoo or shoes, with Romney putting his money in the Cayman Islands so he doesn't have to pay taxes on all he earned. In effect, that is like him receiving a gift of perhaps millions of dollars from the government.

How does it compare with the handouts to banks and to big oil companies? It's ridiculous that if he were to be president, he would be trying to create jobs for us when his personal job was to cash in on sending work overseas. That's hardly like teaching two shifts, like I did before my strokes, or fighting in Afghanistan.

He cannot teach real people how to work or to have personal responsibility. We know. We've been there.
