Alice Washington places an American flag on one of the graves at the Beaufort National Cemetery on Monday afternoon. Washington is the president of the Fred S. Washington SC Post #1 - Woman's Relief Corps, and she and several other members met at the cemetery to pay tribute to family members and friends who had served in the military and are buried there.
