A 28-year-old man was robbed and beaten on Hilton Head Island, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.
The alleged robbery occurred just after midnight Monday in the area of 435 William Hilton Parkway, a Sheriff's Office report said.
The suspect is described only as a black male. He stole $115 cash and debit and credit cards from the victim, who suffered bruises to the ribs and hand, the report said.
