Bluffton man arrested, charged with sexually assaulting woman at his home

A Bluffton man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at his home after she had passed out, according to the Bluffton Police Department.

William Riddle, 40, was arrested Saturday after the victim turned over photographs to police that Riddle had taken of himself sexually assaulting her while she was asleep.

Riddle is charged with criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, a felony. He has been released after posting $25,000 bond, according to the Beaufort County Detention Center jail log.

According to a police report, the victim is in her mid-20s.
