Mr. and Mrs. Cary Stoffel of Ridgeland, S.C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Marie Stoffel, to Brandon Ryan Stokes, both of Charleston, S.C. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Stokes of Beaufort, S.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. William Watson and the late Mrs. Patricia Watson of Longs, S.C., and Mr. James Stoffel and the late Mrs. Rosemary Stoffel of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. She is a graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy and received a Bachelor of Science degree in communication from the College of Charleston. She is employed by the Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital as the Major Gifts Coordinator.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Stokes of Summerville, S.C., the late Mr. and Mrs. Phil Gath of Sumter, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Archie Stafford of Sumter, S.C. He is a graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy and received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Clemson University. He is employed by HDR, Inc. as a Transportation Hydraulics Engineer.

The wedding will take place on April 27, 2013, at St. Mary of the Annunciation in Charleston, S.C.
