Bluffton High School football tickets to be sold in advance at a discount

The Bluffton High School athletics department will begin selling advanced football tickets at a discounted price for the remainder of the season beginning today, athletics director Dave Adams said.

The first tickets, which can be purchased at Moe's Southwest Grill on Malphrus Road and Bluffton Pharmacy on Bluffton Road, will be for the annual Bridge Bowl against Hilton Head Island High School at Bobcat Stadium on Sept. 21.

"In anticipation for the big crowd, we want to pre-sell as many tickets as we can," Adams said. "For now, we'll do it for every home game the remaining of the year."

The tickets will go for just $6, one dollar less than the gate cost of $7. Tickets for the Bridge Bowl will be sold from now until the afternoon of the game, which will be played once the Bobcats return from their two-game road trip to Wade Hampton this Friday and James Island on Sept. 14.

Three more home games will follow, all of which will have tickets available at the two locations. The Bobcats' first Region 8-AAAA game is slated for Oct. 5 against Beaufort High, while remaining home games against Fort Dorchester on Oct. 19 and Colleton County on Oct. 26 also will be sold the week of the game.
