SOUTHSIDE SOCCER CLUB WINS 3 TITLES AT JACKSONVILLE TOURNAMENT

Several teams from the Southside Soccer Club -- which fields players from Beaufort, Bluffton and Hilton Head Island -- competed over the weekend in the First Coast Labor Day Shootout in Jacksonville, Fla., and three of the Southside squads won their divisions in the tournament.

Southside's under-14, under-16 and under-18 teams were champions in their divisions. The Southside U17 team was runner-up, and the U13 team finished third in the tournament, which featured teams from 35 soccer clubs around the Southeast.
