If I were to have brain surgery, would I choose my surgeon based on his likeability or on his experience and competence?
When I fly in a plane, is it important to me that I like the pilot or that he is highly trained and has the experience and competence to operate the plane even in adverse conditions? When considering my vote for the next chief executive and commander in chief of the United States, a country which just may be heading towards the greatest fiscal collapse in the history of man, what should be my criteria? The candidate's smile? His likeability? His ability to read a speech?
Or are there other attributes that are much more important to resolve today's challenges?
