Hilton Head Preparatory School will hold its third Coastal Clean Water Festival from 5 to 10 p.m. Sept. 15 at Shelter Cove Harbour on Hilton Head Island. The event aims to raise awareness about environmental stewardship and is free and open to the public. It will include music, karaoke, food and environmental education.

A volunteer beach cleanup also will be held from 9 a.m. to noon that day at Hilton Head's Burkes Beach, Coligny Beach, Sea Pines Beach Club, Driessen Beach Park and Mitchelville Beach. In Bluffton, Oyster Factory Park and All Joy Landing also will be cleaned.
