Registration has begun for conversational Spanish and Italian classes to be offered at southern campuses of the University of South Carolina Beaufort.

Basic and advanced classes in both languages will be at USCB's main southern Beaufort County campus on U.S. 278 near Hardeeville. Basic level classes also will be taught at USCB's classroom at Pineland Station Mall on Hilton Head Island.

The classes are two hours each and run for 10 weeks starting Sept. 10. The cost is $175. Schedules can be found at www.uscb.edu/continuinged.
