If you like high school sports, check out our website's new team pages

mmccombs@islandpacket.comSeptember 1, 2012

The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette have made it easier for you to follow your favorite area high school sports teams online.

Each of the 10 schools in our coverage area now has its own web page, where fans and followers can find stories, photo galleries, schedules, rosters and the latest tweets about their teams.

To view your school's page, go to islandpacket.com/sports and select a link from the list near the top of the page, under "Prep Sports."

And if football is your thing, you'll want to check out the pages for each high school team. Those pages put the lastest news, team rosters, schedules and results at your fingertips. What's more, these pages will be archived -- creating a yearbook of sorts -- so the story of a season emerges on each page and a team history is compiled as the years pass.

You can go to your football team's page using the link underneath the football schedule on each high school's page. You also can get there by entering the appropriate URL:

We also give you a great way to show your enthusiasm and loyalty -- use these hashtags to track and contribute to Twitter posts about your teams.
