The Island Packet should be ashamed of itself. Everytime I see a picture of our governor in the newspaper, it makes her look less than the distinguished person she is.

Whether she is Democrat or Republican (if that is your underlying reasoning), she is the governor of South Carolina; we elected her. We should be proud citizens and help our state government every way that we are able to. I buy this newspaper every single day, like so many of islanders do. We are not in junior high school anymore. Your mentality is still in junior high school.
