Two Beaufort County schools commemorate first-ever week of classes

Two Beaufort County schools held their first week of classes ever last week. Royal Live Oaks Academy of Arts and Sciences, a new charter school in Hardeeville, delayed its opening by a week due to some construction issues, but other than that, things have gone smoothly, school officials say. Children are selecting the school mascot and burying time capsules this week to commemorate the school's opening. Holy Trinity Classical Christian also opened in Beaufort last week.
