ACHIEVEMENTS

Battery Creek High School

EVENTS

Dolphin Pride and Family Night begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Dolphin Stadium. Tickets to the football game will be on sale at half-price at all lunches that day. For more information, see Coach Drafts.

Title I Parent Night is 6:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 27. The informational meeting will explain more about what being a Title I school means for parents and students.

The PTSO will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 11 in the media center. The SIC meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m.

HELPING HANDS

PTSO and SIC nomination forms are available in the front office or on the BCHS website. The deadline to submit applications is Aug. 31.

Beaufort Academy

EVENTS

A back-to-school town hall is 6-7 p.m. Tuesday in the gym.

New family orientation is 9-11 a.m. Wednesday.

Beaufort High School

EVENTS

The school will offer "Alive at 25," a defensive driving course, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sept. 8. The course also will be offered at Beaufort Police Department 3:45-8:30 p.m. Sept. 5 and Oct. 3. Port Royal Elementary School

Back-to-school night is 6 p.m. Aug. 28.

St. Helena Elementary School

EVENTS

An open house is at 6 p.m. Aug. 27 in the gym. Teachers and staff will be introduced. Parents can visit classrooms to hear about the new reading curriculum, themes for the year, expectations of students, ways to communicate and have a question-and-answer time.

The SIC will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 4 in the school cafeteria.

Reunions/Alumni
