YMCA to offer after-school care in Jasper County

After-school care will be offered to Jasper County residents this school year by the Wardle Family YMCA.

The service will be offered from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the Royal Live Oaks Academy of the Arts & Sciences Public Charter School in Hardeeville. The program also will be available from 12:30 to 7 p.m. on Fridays.

The program will offer homework assistance, peer-led tutoring, healthy snacks and gym games. There will also be weekly clubs.

Cost is $15 a week for the first child and $10 a week for additional children.
