Title I Parent Night will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 27. The informational meeting will explain more about what being a Title I school means for parents and students.
The PTSO will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 11 in the media center. The SIC meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m.
Youth Football Night is Sept. 14 at Dolphin Stadium. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m. All fall athletics teams who come with their coaches will be admitted free of charge and will be announced at halftime. To attend, call 843-322-5580 by Sept. 7.
Military Appreciation Night will be Sept. 7 at Dolphin Stadium. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m. Those with a military ID will be admitted free of charge to the game against Garrett Tech.
Homecoming is Oct. 26. The football game will start at 7:30 p.m.
HELPING HANDS
The SADD Club is collecting school supplies for CAPA. Donations may be left in the front office through Aug. 14.
PTSO and SIC nomination forms are available in the front office or on the BCHS website. The deadline to submit applications is Aug. 31.

The back-to-school open house will be 6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in the cafeteria. Class lists will be posted, free and reduced-price lunch applications will be available and uniforms will be available for purchase. Dinner is provided.

Due to expanded course offerings and teacher availability, the school's master schedule has been reworked. This might change student schedules. Students may pick up their most current schedule and textbooks from Ms. Middleton in the book room from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the following days: Aug. 13 for seniors, Aug. 14 for juniors, Aug. 15 for sophomores and Aug. 16 for freshmen. Any student also can come from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 17.
The school will offer "Alive at 25," a defensive-driving course, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 18 and Sept. 8. The course also will be offered from 3:45 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 5 and Oct. 3 at the Beaufort Police Department.
