As newspaper editors, I am sure you receive a lot of negative comments. My wife and I are residents of Sun City Hilton Head. I had the honor of listening to Beaufort County Sheriff P.J. Tanner speak a couple of years ago. What an educated and superb speaker. Beaufort County is lucky to have a super person who cares about the citizens first.

I spent most of my life in Cleveland, Ohio, in Cuyahoga County, and had for decades the most corrupt sheriff, who after 40-plus years was booted out of office.
