Heavy rains led to a partial lane closure on the eastbound on-ramp to U.S. 278 from S.C. 170 in Bluffton on Tuesday afternoon. Beaufort County Sheriff's Office and Bluffton Police reported no weather-related car accidents, but the S.C. Highway Patrol reported at least three minor incidents in Beaufort County between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., including one at the flooded intersection. No injuries were reported.
