Mr. and Mrs. W. Toland Sams of Beaufort announce the engagement of their daughter, Hilary Anna Sams of Beaufort, to Justin Michael Thomas of Hendersonville, the son of Rita Thomas and David Strickland of Yemassee and Michael Thomas and Lynn Allbright of Hampton.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Beaufort High School and a 2005 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina School of Nursing. She is employed as a Care Coordinator at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Walterboro High School. He is employed at Beaufort-Jasper Water Authority.

The wedding is planned for March 23, 2013.
