Greer's Crawford Reeves has the lead at 6-under-par 64 after the first day of the 81st annual SCGA Amateur Championship at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

The Clemson golfer is followed by Ninety Six's J.J. Jordan, Columbia's Will Murphy, Bluffton's Justin Hoft and Orangeburg's Jacob Burger at 66. Spartanburg's Will Woodard and Lexington's Jordan Sease followed at 67. Four golfers were at 68 on the par-70 course.
