Erin Lindsay Beavers and James Leonard Pate IV were united in marriage at six oclock in the evening on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, N.C.
The Rev. Neil Dunnavant officiated, and Dr. Gary William Beavers, uncle of the bride, was a reader.
Following the ceremony, the brides parents hosted a reception at Greensboro Country Club. On Friday evening, the grooms parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Greensboro Country Club Farm Clubhouse. Earlier Friday, a bridesmaids luncheon was hosted by friends and family at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Kevin Keating.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Allen Beavers of Greensboro. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Olive Beavers of Greensboro, the late Mr. Erwin Mork of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and the late Mrs. Esther Kennedy Letts of Delray Beach, Fla. The bride is a graduate of Ridgefield Academy in Greensboro and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Peace College. She is employed as a recruiter with TEKsystems in Charleston.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Leonard Pate, III of Beaufort. He is the grandson of Mrs. Marian Jordan Pate and the late Mr. James Leonard Pate, Junior of Cheraw, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Douglas Boykin of Camden. He is a graduate of Beaufort High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Presbyterian College. He is employed as a regional sales manager for Scout Boats of Summerville.
