Marine Staff Sgt. Jerome H. Carter, 34, husband of Tamika S. Carter of Yemassee, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Wake services will be from 6 to 8 p.m. todayat the Springhill Baptist Church in Yemassee. Funeral services will be in Shreveport, La. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home.
