Ms. Karen Gannon of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Tia Gannon to Kelly Kraft, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Kraft of Denton, Texas.

Miss Gannon and Mr. Kraft met the beginning of their freshman year at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. They both played golf on SMU’s Division I golf teams.

The future bride graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in journalism. She is a graduate of Heritage Academy. She is currently doing social media work for a technology company and teaches Pilates.

The future groom turned professional after winning the 2011 U.S. Amateur. The couple became engaged shortly before Mr. Kraft played in the 2012 Masters, where Miss Gannon caddied for him in the par 3 contest.

The couple will tie the knot this April on Sea Island, Ga.
