Beaufort Ospreys 7, Goose Creek 4: The Ospreys wrapped up their regular season with a win over league champion Goose Creek, securing the league's No. 3 seed for the playoffs.

The Ospreys begin the best-of-five first round at 7 p.m. Monday at Lexington. Game 2 will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Beaufort.

The Ospreys (7-9) knocked off Goose Creek with a committee of pitchers, using four in preparation for the postseason. Shane Dixon, Matt Kardohely, Thomas Smith and Mitchell Stewart got in some work on the mound. Smith picked up the win and Stewart earned the save.

Offensively, Beaufort had 10 hits, led by Alex Silon and Jordan Clegg with two apiece. Clegg also scored three runs.
