Dixie Angels (9-10)

The Beaufort all-stars deteated Walterboro 16-3 on Saturday to win the Dixie Angels softball district championship in North Charleston.

Bella Greer and Emily Crosby were 2 for 3 and Journeigh Doray was 1 for 2 with a home run. Julianna Greer was the winning pitcher.

Beaufort advances to the state championship tournament on Saturday in Hanahan.

O-Zone Majors (11-12)

The Hilton Head all-stars defeated Beaufort East 12-2 on Friday night in Game 6 to win the District 8 O-Zone tournament at Crossings Park. Beaufort East was the tournament's runner-up.

The tournament featured Bluffton, Beaufort American, Beaufort East and Hilton Head all-stars. Hilton Head advances to the state tournament, which begins July 14 at the 8 Oaks Regional Park in Georgetown.
