Salute from the Shore flyby along the coast for July 4th

Salute from the Shore III, the third annual Fourth of July military fly-over along the S.C. coast, will be held this July 4th.

Five Air Force F-16s flown by the 79th Fighter Squadron, "The Flying Tigers," of the 20th Fighter Wing, stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, will pass by the coast.

The flyby is scheduled to start from Little River at 1 p.m., passing North Myrtle Beach at about 1:01 p.m.; Surfside Beach, 1:05; Pawleys Island, 1:08; Isle of Palms, 1:18; Folly Beach, 1:20; Edisto Island, 1:25; and Hilton Head Island, 1:29.

Everyone is asked to wear red, white and blue, bring flags and wave to the pilots.
