Beaufort American 24, Hampton-Varnville 17: The Beaufort American all-stars advanced to tonight's sub-district championship game in Walterboro with their second victory over Hampton-Varnville. Paul Winland led Beaufort's offense, going 3 for 3 with a triple. Chance Stephens was 2 for 2 and Jaheim Fripp went 1 for 2. Stephens, Cal Harvey and Oliver Holmes handled the pitching duties for Beaufort, which faces host Walterboro at 6 tonight in the final.
