ANNUAL HAWKFEST SCHEDULED FOR AUG. 25

Hilton Head Island's annual Hawkfest, a back-to-school festival, has been scheduled for Aug. 25 at Shelter Cove Park. The "Back to the Nest" event will have food, music and entertainment for the whole family, and will last from 4 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 25. Proceeds benefit Hilton Head Island High School athletics, the HHIHS Booster Club and the Island Rec Center.
