Ridgeland family burned out of home

American Red Cross volunteers responded to a kitchen fire in a mobile home in Ridgeland on Monday night, providing assistance to a family of two adults and one teenager, according to a news release.

The Jasper County Fire Department responded to the fire, which heavily damaged the home at 5317 Log Haul Road.

The Red Cross provided the family with one night of temporary lodging and money for food.
