Coyle’s celebrate 50th anniversary

James and Elizabeth Coyle of Bluffton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 23 at Palmetto Bluffs and Duck, N.C. at the Outer Banks.

They were married June 23, 1962 in St. Stevens Holy Catholic Church, Shenandoah, Pa.

They have four children: Allison Coyle McCann of Elkridge, Md., Coleen Coyle Huff of Fredericksburg, Va., James John Coyle of Berkley, Mich. and Shannon Coyle Kingston of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and one granddaughter, Ashley Kingston.

Bettie is a retired nurse and amateur photographer.

James had served in various executive and sales management roles with EDS before retiring after 35 years. Jim and Bettie have lived in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Detroit, London, England and Canfield, Ohio.

Both are retired and have lived in Sun City Hilton Head for the last seven years where they are active in tennis, St. Gregory The Great Church, Knights of Columbus and Ancient Order of the Hibernians.

Mrs. Coyle is the daughter of the late John and Olive Bobish of Shenandoah, Pa.

Mr. Coyle is the son of the late James and Mimi Coyle also of Shenandoah, Pa.
