I am concerned about the decreased hours of our libraries in Bluffton and on Hilton Head Island.

For many people, this reduction in hours prevents them from searching for employment or communicating with their families, among other negative consequences. Many people do not have a home computer and Internet access.

Why are some branches funded at a higher percentage? Funding needs to be restored to all the branches. The library plays a critical role in the health of all our communities. Restore the funding and open the libraries every day and for a full day, Mondays through Saturdays.
