Gov. Nikki Haley has come in and done her thing, fighting off those pesky union jobs.

So where does that leave us as a state? According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, South Carolina is surpassed for lowest gross domestic product per capita by Mississippi; that's correct, we rank 50th.

The per capita amount has decreased 8.3 percent since 2008; the national average during that time decreased 3.5 percent. Great job, governor.
