The 167 students of Battery Creek High School's Class of 2012 graduated Monday in a ceremony at the school.

Total amount of scholarship money earned by the graduates: More than $1.8 million

Valedictorian: Joseph Thomas Galtelli earned a 4.561 grade-point average and will attend Winthrop University.

Salutatorian: Michael Allan Evans earned a 4.538 grade-point average and will attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
