BATTERY CREEK HIGH SCHOOL ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Congratulations to the 2012-2013 Cheerleading Squads at BCHS: Kyleigh Alman, Shey'von Chisolm, Marissa Davis, Kaniecia Dilbert, Jasmine Drake, Allie Garcia, Shelly Houge, Illyona Johnstone, Ashby Kane, Katlin Kardohely, Tinea Morris, Marley Moss, Jenny Mossage, Olivia Nolan, Blair Scherr, Sam Vincent, Jessica Wells and Sherry Whalley have been selected to represent the Dolphins on the sidelines next school year. The cheer squads will be under the leadership of coach Lydia Williams.

  • Report cards for pre-kindergartners through fourth-graders go home Monday.

  • Final exams for fifth- through seventh-grade students begin Monday.

  • The eighth grade will complete their community service project at Hunting Island on Monday and Tuesday.

  • Kindergarten graduation is at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

  • The last day of school is Wednesday.

  • A senior tea honoring the ladies of the Class of 2012 and hosted by the junior class will be at 4 p.m. Thursday.

  • Baccalaureate service is at 4 p.m. Friday at St. Helena's Church.

  • Book buy back in the cafeteria is Friday.

  • Eighth-grade promotion will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

  • Graduation is at 2 p.m. Saturday.

    EVENTS

  • The AMES fourth quarter showcase will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

  • BEAUFORT MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Yearbooks will be distributed and available for purchase Monday.

  • The NJHS Field Day for all grades is Wednesday.

  • Sixth-grade awards will be Wednesday.

  • The kindergarten moving up ceremony is at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

  • The pre-kindergarten moving up ceremony is at 9:30 a.m. June 11.

  • The first-grade celebration of learning will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

  • The kindergarten year-end program will 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

  • ROBERT SMALLS MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Monday is Field Day.

  • Schoolwide team awards will be presented Tuesday.

  • A completion ceremony for eighth-graders will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday. A dance will follow from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

  • The Beaufort High School Class of 1972's 40th reunion will consist of two events June 29-30. From 6 to 11 p.m. June 29, alumni will gather at Darrah Hall at the Penn Center on St. Helena Island.
