A 47-year-old Yemassee woman died Sunday after she lost control of her car on Secondary Road 17 in Hampton County, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol and the county's coroner.
Martha Lee Terry, 47, was traveling north at about 7:45 p.m. when she crossed the center line in her 1998 Toyota, veered off the left side of the road and struck several trees, the patrol said. She was not wearing a seat belt.
