Richard and Janet MacDonald of Hilton Head Island announce the engagement of their son, Sanders Rhea MacDonald, to Samantha Rene Fesler, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Gregg Fesler of Charleston, S.C.

The groom is also the grandson of  Peggy Sanders and the late James C. Sanders, of Beaufort.

The wedding is to take place July 1, 2012, in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

The groom-elect graduated from Hilton Head Christian Academy in 2007. In May of 2011 he graduated from Clemson University, with a B.A. degree in Marketing and is currently working in Sales with The Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, N.C.

The bride-elect graduated from Palmetto Christian Academy in Mt. Pleasant in 2009. She will graduate with a B.A. degree in Management from Clemson University in August 2012.
