Using surveillance footage, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office has identified five women and a 16-year-old boy as the suspected shoplifters of more than $15,000 worth of sunglasses from a Bluffton-area outlet store.

Now investigators are working with Savannah area authorities to find the suspects, believed to be living in Savannah or Garden City, Ga.

Arrest warrants for felony shoplifting have been issued for Mickale Danaka Ferrell, 22; Charmane Paticka Belton, 20; Mia Nicole Dock, 18; Kadarryl Monique Jackson, 18; and Shekennya Bershad Davis, 20.

The sixth suspect, a 16-year-old boy, will be charged as a juvenile for felony shoplifting, according to a news release.

The suspects were caught on tape at the Sunglass Hut in Tanger Outlet Center 1 on U.S. 278 on two separate occasions, the Sheriff's Office said. At about 8:30 p.m. April 11, three people stuffed more than 40 pairs of designer sunglasses into their purses and walked out of the store within minutes. On April 13, three different people used the same method to steal more than 30 pairs from the shelves.

The public helped investigators identify the suspects when surveillance tapes were made public, and now the Sheriff's Office is asking for help in finding them.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts should call either Cpl. Jeff Moran at 843-255-3422 or the county dispatch at 843-524-2777.
