A Bluffton Town Council a workshop Tuesday will detail possible landscaping and signage upgrades that could spruce up several main "gateways" into the town.
Council members are expected to hear updates from the Median Landscape Steering Committee, the Old Town Wayfinding Signage Program and the town's tree committee.
No votes will be taken during the workshop.
"While council will take no formal action on these matters, they may very well develop a priority list of matters for staff and (the) tree committee to work on," said Bluffton town manager Anthony Barrett in a statement.
A discussion also is planned for possible improvements to the roundabout at Bluffton Road and Bluffton Parkway and the one at S.C. 46 and S.C. 170.
Tree committee members also are expected to participate in a discussion about the tree ordinance and the committee's role in guiding future tree plantings, Barrett said.
Attempts Saturday to reach Mayor Lisa Sulka and members of Town Council were unsuccessful.
The workshop will be at 4 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center in Buckwalter Place.
