Mr. and Mrs. Lester Clark Daring of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Morgan Daring of Ridgeland, to Justin Collins Lane of Yemassee, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Collins Bessenger Lane of Yemassee.

A November wedding is planned.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carroll Blanchard Richard and the late Mr. Robert Edward Richard of Hampton, and Ms. Juliette Malphrus Daring and Mr. Lester Frank Daring, of Ridgeland. She will earn a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of South Carolina Beaufort in August.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jedith Lee Goodwin of Yemassee, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Edwin Lyons and the late Mr. James Harshaw Lane, all of Yemassee.

He is employed with the Lady’s Island Fire Department of Beaufort.
