Battery Creek 4, Beaufort Academy 1: Luka Basuino scored a pair of goals and had an assist to lead the Dolphins (2-1). Alan Escobar added a goal and an assist, Mannny Gonzalez scored a goal, and Oscar Tierrablanca and Gabriel Pienda tallied assists.
Battery Creek hosts Beaufort Academy at Tuesday.
Colleton County 5, Hardeeville 3: Martin Sotelo scored two goals against Class 4-A Colleton County, giving him five for the season. He also added an assist for the Hurricanes (1-1). Kelon de Leon added a goal and an assist and Cruz Romero had an assist.
Hardeeville hosts Branchville at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Region 5-A opener.

Hilton Head Island High 3, Beaufort High 0: The Seahawks finally solved Beaufort High goalkeeper Carson Moore, breaking open a scoreless game with three goals after halftime.
Hilton Head High hosts Brookland Cayce at noon today. Beaufort High plays at Porter-Gaud on Thursday.
Battery Creek 6, Garrett 1: Cali Caulder scored four times to propel the Dolphins.
The visitors jumped out to 1-0 lead before Marjury Gonzalez netted the tying goal for Battery Creek.
Victoria Hill also scored for the Dolphins (2-1). Hill also split time as goalkeeper with Samantha Colleran and Stephanie Colleran.
Battery Creek next hosts its region opener Friday against Cane Bay.

BOYS LACROSSE
Hilton Head Island High 23, Bluffton 4: Thomas Farrell and Nate Jones each scored six goals, with Jones adding four assists, as the Seahawks rolled over the host team in the Bluffton Invitational.
Hilton Head High led 20-2 at halftime.
Nick Bautista added four goals and two assists, Ross Lovette had three goals, Will Urbin scored two, and Harrison Moore and Andrew Kirby each scored once.
Madison Gayle and Michael Stumm combined for four saves for Hilton Head High, which plays Woodmont at 2:30 p.m. today in the championship game at Bluffton High School.
The Bobcats will face Charleston Club at 1 p.m. in the consolation matchup.
BASEBALL
Hilton Head Prep 10, Augusta (Ga.) Westminster 0: Starting pitcher Dylan Powell struck out 11 over five innings to power Hilton Head Prep.
Powell got all the run support he needed in the Dolphins' five-run first inning. Hilton Head Prep also scored four times in the fifth.
Patrick Briody went 3 for 4 with three runs scored and two stolen bases to lead the Hilton Head Prep offense. Randy Young delivered a two-out double in the fifth to spark the Dolphins' big inning.
Hilton Head Prep (2-0-1) hosts Westminster again today.
SOFTBALL
Academic Magnet 16, Battery Creek 6 (6 inn.): Mariah Sanchez had a triple, and Sara Cathey and Autumn Gravel each hit a double in the loss for Battery Creek.
The Dolphins (1-3) host Wade Hampton at 6 p.m. Monday.
