WISHES GRANTED
Walmart of Hilton Head Island granted Hilton Head Island Elementary studio teacher Mrs. Ashton's wish for hot glue sticks, Expo markers and Sharpie markers.

Dr. Cheryl Arnold, a special education teacher for sixth-graders at Bluffton Middle School, is requesting laptop computers and 10 basic calculators. Jamie Delke, a reading teacher for third-graders at Hilton Head Island Elementary, is requesting four basic CD players with headphones to be used for a listening center. Hilton Head Island High Principal Amanda O'Nan is requesting hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, paper towels, healthy snacks for tutoring, volunteer gardeners to help maintain gardens, indoor plants for classrooms, school uniform pieces and frames for artifacts. The Hilton Head Island High School library staff is requesting these math books: "e: The Story of a Number"; "Gamma: Exploring Eulars Constant"; "The Music of the Primes"; "The Man Who Loved Only Numbers"; "Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman"; "Inside Your Calculator: From Simple Programs to Significant Insights"; and "Bad Science." Trish Smoot, a reading and math teacher for gifted and talented third- and fourth-graders at Hilton Head Island Elementary, is requesting highlighters, HP Inkjet cartridges Nos. 56 and 57, an electric pencil sharpener, Expo markers, flash drives and wide-ruled notebook paper.
