Seven USC Beaufort pitchers contributed to a pair of shutouts Tuesday as the Sand Sharks defeated Fisher College (Mass.) 3-0 and 15-0 to complete a three-game sweep at Richard Gray Sports Complex in Hardeeville.

The Sand Sharks (11-2) won their sixth straight game overall and 10th straight at home while improving to 14-1 all-time against Fisher.

Adam Miller, Miles Galvin and Colton Rudd combined on a two-hitter in the opener for USCB. Galvin (1-0) earned the win after the Sand Sharks scored three runs in the fourth against Fisher starter Casey Reed. Rudd pitched two perfect innings for his second save.

Dom Hayes had an RBI double and David O'Neil drove in a run with a single in the fourth inning.

The Sand Sharks continued to shut down the Falcons (0-4) in the second game, as Kyle McCullough, Caleb Daniels, Stephen Richards and Junior Delatorre combined to hold Fisher to four hits.

McCullough (1-0) threw two scoreless innings to win in his first appearance since the NAIA National Championship Opening Round in 2010. The junior missed all of last season while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

A lineup full of reserves did plenty of damage in the series finale. Second baseman Keenan Ivey was 3 for 4 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI, and freshman shortstop Ashly Morris went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs and four RBIs.

The Sand Sharks begin Sun Conference play at 2 p.m. Friday in Hardeeville against Southeastern. The teams then play a doubleheader starting at noon Saturday.
