On behalf of the board of trustees of Lowcountry Legal Volunteers, our executive director, our staff and our clients, I would like to thank the Italian American Club of Hilton Head Island for its generous donation to our mission.

Without the thoughtful generosity of local citizens like you, Lowcountry Legal Volunteers could not continue to serve the families of the Lowcountry that find themselves in legal crises. Our mission is to provide free legal representation, advice and education to qualified low-income individuals and families in these counties primarily through the work of volunteers and volunteer attorneys.

In these difficult economic times, Lowcountry Legal Volunteers has been overrun with requests for assistance, especially from parents and children, and our private donors enable us to continue to serve these deserving clients. We are so truly grateful for the continued partnership of the Italian American Club and its assistance through ticket sales to the festival, allowing us to share our vision at its luncheons, and for its donations. Lowcountry Legal Volunteers could not continue to serve people from Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties without this funding.
