Thanks ... from Lions Club

On behalf of the Hilton Head Noon Lions Club and the community we serve, very special thanks go to those who made our recent concert fundraiser a huge success.

First, to Larry Perigo and the Headliners. They played great music nonstop for nearly three hours. They are always a hit with any crowd. Next, a big thanks to our program ad sponsors, who regretfully are too numerous to name individually. And to Omega Printing for producing a terrific program.

Thanks also to our patrons who danced the night away. And finally, a heartfelt thank you to Luther and Dale Wright and the staff of the Grand Ballroom and Coconutz Sports Bar at Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort. Not only did they graciously provide a wonderful facility, but they also took care of every detail. I would recommend them to anyone holding a function.

Lions Club is the largest service organization worldwide and each club serves their community in a variety of ways. We help provide and fund vision care and glasses for the needy, worldwide disaster relief, youth programs, guide dogs for the blind, summer camps and activities for blind children and adults -- mostly vision-related services but any community need when possible.

Our service projects and activities are funded by private donations and fundraisers, so thanks again to our local residents and businesses for their unmatched generosity.

Finally, we are always looking for good new members, so please consider joining a Lions Club.
