Charlie Simmons Sr.

Charlie Simmons Sr., 89, of the Oaks community on St. Helena Island and husband of Lucinda Johnson Simmons, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at his residence. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. todayat Chisholm Galloway Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at Bethesda Christian Fellowship on St. Helena Island. Burial with military honors will follow in the Beaufort National Cemetery. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
