James Harold Groh Sr. and Ruth Suydam Groh of Hilton Head Island announce the engagement of their son, Dr. John Suydam Groh of Port St. Lucie, Fla., to Dr. Jamie Lynn Bosma, the daughter of Mr. Scott Bosma of Newton, Iowa and the late Nancy Nebergall Bosma. The wedding is planned for May 26, 2012, on the 18th Lawn of Harbour Town Golf Links. The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Hilton Head Prep, a 2007 graduate of Furman University, and a 2011 graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Georgia. He is a Resident at Port St. Lucie Medical Center specializing in Emergency Medicine. The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Augustana College and a 2009 graduate of Des Moines University Medical School. She is employed by Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla., as a dual resident in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. She is currently an Associate Chief Resident.
