Two of South Carolina's most distinguished archaeologists will be on hand to help people decipher the history of personal artifacts from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn on Hilton Head Island.

The program is based loosely on the "Antique Road Show" concept. Anyone in the community who has unidentified archaeological artifacts is welcome to bring them, according to the museum. Anyone who would like to display a prized artifact from their collection at the event also is invited to do so.

Jon Leader, S.C. State Archaeologist, and Eric Poplin of Brockington and Associates will lead the artifact identification project.

The Coastal Discovery at Honey Horn is at 70 Honey Horn Drive.

Details: Contact George Stubbs at 843-363-5058.
