Saturday: Banquet and ceremony for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award; 6 p.m., Beaufort High School, the Rev. Sam Spain of Lady's Island Baptist Church to speak. Monday: Parade through downtown and keynote address by Fred Washington Jr., Beaufort County Board of Education chairman. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Boundary and Rodgers streets. Free breakfast for volunteers from 8 to 9 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 3001 Meeting St. Participants should wear work clothes and closed-toe shoes and bring work gloves.
